What to Expect During Your Assessment

Your first appointment begins with a conversation about your symptoms, medical history, daily activities and personal goals.

Your physical assessment may include:

  • Range of motion tests

  • Muscle strength tests

  • Orthopedic tests

  • Balance and coordination tests

  • Palpation

  • Functional movements such as walking, squatting, reaching or lifting

  • Asking activities related to your work, exercise or daily life

After the assessment, I will explain the findings and work with you to develop a treatment plan. You will also receive guidance on what you can continue doing and what may need to be temporarily modified.

Physiotherapy sessions may include:
